Hello and welcome!
So glad you stumbled upon my site! I feel like it's so important that you are here right now. Personally, I don't believe in coincidence or accidents. I believe everything happens for a reason, so there must be something here you were meant to see, find, or read. So I suggest that you act on that assumption and come on in and spend some time visiting my site. This site is a work in progress so there will be much more to come in the very near future.
My name is Valerie Dearth and I will do all I can to assist you. For now, just let me say that this website truly is all about the positive energetic changes you can make through better nutrition, Seichim healing energy work, expanding your spirituality and your connection to All that Is, or whatever else I can assist you with. If you would like to know where my expertise lies or what motivates me to do what I do, check out the about me page.
I do not diagnose or treat disorders in people or animals. No advice whether stated by phone, email, website or in person is meant to be misconstrued as a cure or medical advice.
If you have been diagnosed with a disorder, are pregnant, may become pregnant, are nursing, scheduled for surgery, have allergies, or are on any medications, I recommend that you follow the advice of your physician before taking ANY herb, herbal combination, or vitamin supplement.
The above also applies to any animals under your care whether they be a dog, cat, horse, or small mammal, etc. Never give "people supplements" or remedies to any animal without properly researching and checking with a qualified veterinarian or expert. Always consult a veterinarian first. Especially if your animal is pregnant, may become pregnant, is nursing, has been diagnosed with any disorder, disease or is currently on medication.
!!!!!__ Be a Label Reader__!!!!!
Many human supplements contain ingredients that can make the animal under your care sick or possibly even cause death. Please read all print involving the listing of ingredients on every label. Even some vitamins can interact with medications and herbs are known to enhance or may dampen or negatively interfere with the action and effects of medications.
Some supplements, herbs, topical remedies, and or even some particular vitamins are harmful to certain species. Please, always err on the side of caution and do your due dilligence before giving anything. It is also always best to give the recommended amounts or half the recommendations as opposed to giving more.
It has been my observation that people seem to sometimes make the mistake by thinking that if a little of something has such a good effect, then twice or three times as much is even better.
Please don't fall prey to that type of thinking. Anything in a high enough amount can be toxic or lethal. As an example. You can literally die from ingesting too much water too quickly or by taking in too much salt all at once.
The first rule of thumb is the old creed of "Do No Harm". It is better to do nothing if you aren't fully informed.
Case in Point
Recently it was found that the reactions to drugs and probably also herbs and over the counter remedies is totally different for women in comparison to men. The drug Ambien brought it to the attention of the FDA.
It has been found that women should not be taking the full dose of Ambien.
All studies that have been done with animals are nearly always done with males of the species. This means that the reactions that they saw in their studies are flawed. It is now known that males process drugs and other substances differently than women.
Some studies have included women but when reviewing the adverse reactions it was not noted as to what percentage of the total of adverse reactions was women only. So the real advantage of what could have been learned from such studies went unnoticed.
This is also important when trying to help a female pet verses a male pet.
